Kim has been the owner of a commercial print and packaging company for the past 26 years, in addition to 4 years ownership of a marine data publishing company. For many of those years, the print business enjoyed great growth and profitability. However, Kim sees clear signals that the print industry is changing and is progressing to an inevitable and permanent decline. He plans to keep the print business running as long as it remains profitable. But Kim plans to devote the majority of his efforts and energy into Made in the Shade.
